Nine decades after the Reverso was born, Jaeger-LeCoultre introduces the latest episode in this story: the Reverso Tribute Nonantième, which offers a completely new visual expression, both classic and unexpected, to an alliance of complications.

02__THE DESIGN

A NEW EXPRESSION OF COMPLICATED WATCHMAKING

Featuring the core elements of the original design, the classically elegant aesthetics of the recto give no hint of the surprise concealed on the verso. Unconventional and captivating, the Reverso Tribute Nonantième is unlike anything seen on Reverso before.

THE UNEXPECTED SIDE OF TIME

Flipping the case over reveals an entirely new visual expression of some of watchmaking’s most familiar complications. The caseback features a semi-jumping digital hour indication, evoking digital displays developed by the Manufacture for wristwatches in the 1930s, while minutes are displayed on a rotating disc with an applied sun and moon at their centre to indicate night and day.

THE CLASSIC SIDE OF TIME

Featuring the core elements of the original design, the front dial of the Nonantième exudes refinement and elegance. Featuring a moonphase display within the small seconds counter, the sunray-brushed dial displays a Grande date at 12 o’clock, framed by an applied filet of pink gold, echoing the emblematic rectangular shape of the case.

03__THE CALIBER

MADE IN LA VALLÉE DE JOUX

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s engineers have developed an entirely new manually wound movement for the Reverso Tribute Nonantième, Calibre 826. In addition to a range of classic complications, it features for the first time in Reverso a patented Grande Date mechanism and a digital hour display.
