"ALTIPLANO: THE ULTRA-THIN WATCH THAT EMANATES ELEGANCE In the ultimate expression of luxury watches by Piaget, the Altiplano ultra-thin watch was conceived to offer a backdrop of purity and absolute refinement for its movements. THE PARED-DOWN DESIGN OF THE PIAGET ULTRA-THIN WATCH These designer watches feature elegant lines, elevated by emblematic finishes and echoed by the identifying codes of the dial: off-centre displays, alternating double and simple indexes and “baton” hands. Born in 1957, these bold yet timeless signatures for Swiss luxury watches discretely attract every gaze. The Altiplano ultra-thin watch takes its name from the eponymous plateau nestled in the heart of the Cordillera Andes, whose purity of open, untouched land is directly echoed in the collection’s elegant watches. The ultra-thin movements that dance on its lines are the most slender, as seen in the Altiplano Ultimate Concept and its mechanical 900P-UC movement. Only 2 mm thick, the Altiplano watch is our thinnest luxury watch of all time."

Altiplano watch, 36 mm. Case in 18K white gold set with 279 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 1.47 ct) and 48 baguette-cut diamonds (approx. 1.63 ct). Dial set with 159 brilliant-cut diamonds (approximately 1.09 ct) and 36 baguette-cut diamonds (approximately 1.44 ct). Crown set with a brilliant-cut diamond (approx. 0.06 ct). Buckle set with 23 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.05 ct). Manufacture 430P ultra-thin hand-wound mechanical movement. At the very height of its art, Piaget combines all its watchmaking and jewelry expertise in a new display of dazzling thinness. To embellish all its accomplished expertise, 546 baguette-cut and brilliant-cut diamonds illuminate an Haute Joaillerie watch that follows the rhythm of a 430P ultra-thin hand-wound Manufacture movement that is only 2.1 mm thick. Encircled by a bezel set with baguette-cut diamonds, its white gold case is illuminated by round diamonds on the sides, lugs and case back. The codes of elegance of the Altiplano collection are matched by the refined gem-setting of the dial, surrounded by an hour circle paved with baguette-cut diamonds, against which stands out each slender gray baton-type hour marker. This watch of dazzling luxury, which has a thickness of only 6.6 mm, is completed by a gray leather strap closed by a gem-set pin buckle.
